are you one of the contributors,Mona?
Yes, I have two small pieces. One short story: “Alone in the North Carolina Woods – 1840” written a few years back when I took a one-week writing course at John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina, and one very brief piece of Creative Nonfiction based on my last minutes with my best friend from childhood who died some 15 years ago having suffered a long time with emphysema and asthma. She had started smoking in her early teens. It’s title is “Just in Time to Say Goodbye.” I had traveled half-way across the country from Minnesota to Cape Cod in Massachusetts to arrive there just in time. She had been waiting for me.
