For all who are concerned about this harmful anti-immigrant, anti-family practice, call the DOJ’s main comment line at 202-353-1555. They are accepting people’s statements. Leave your name, city and state and speak up for those who have no voice. The DOJ and Jeff Sessions need to be reminded that, except for the native Americans, we are a nation of immigrants and wrenchng families apart is not acceptable.

This barbaric, cruel practice disgusts me more than words can say. It is is unconscionably base and heartless. The damage being inflicted on these children (and their families) in the name of POLITICS…. Where is the outcry from the party of “family values”? If it’s out there, I am not hearing it.
What frightens me beyond this specific horrible issue is that “good people” will step by step become accustomed to the “new normal,” the new “immoral normal.” like the frog in boiling water — not realizing that our American spirit and our democracy has died a bit at a time.
