As of yesterday I’m out of the brace! Off meds. Sleeping better. Now to work on pain control and regaining strength. (The latter a year’s project, no doubt.)

« “THE OPPOSITE OF ADDICTION IS NOT SOBRIETY, BUT CONNECTION”
That is so beautiful – I have always felt that about you – you have a connection to yourself.Life. Simplicity – what is, is. I love you Mona, sending blessings and warm wishes for the pain management.
Mona – Think of this as material for your next novel. Imagine yourself back in biblical times without all of the medical and pharmacological assistance your have had. I don’t doubt you will make lemonade out of your lemons.
Thanks. All I need is the energy to squeeze the lemons Right now doing what I can to restore the normal look of my home — less like a rehab center. but one step at a time, with lying on my back in between.
And Mona – I am not sure if I shared this with you – I have found a great method to ease pain – if you want me to share, just mail me
Thanks for the nice things you say and offer
This is great!!
Thanks
Oh, Mona, this is such good news! We hope each day helps you feel like you’re getting back to normal. Much love to you!
Thank you so much, Gaye. You are the best!
Wonderful to hear, Mona. Good work of patience.
Thanks
Whew, I scrolled through your recent posts and realize that I’ve missed a lot while I was on my “blogcation.” The accident sounds awful. It’s wonderful to hear that you are well on the road to recovery. It take time to heal from an accident like that. My thoughts are with you.
Thanks so much for this. I’m happy to report that time, walking, simple exercising, and a program of nutrition, adjustments, and acupuncture are moving me quickly in the direction of painless hours. And less pain leaves me with more energy. So maybe I’ll manage to get back to my blog — and other stuff.
It’s good to hear that you are moving in a positive direction toward less pain. At the rate you are progressing, my gut feeling is that you’ll be back to your blog soon. .
Oh Sheryl, I hope so. I thought I’d be back today, but other stuff came up to eat into my healthy hours. It will happen, though.
