I loved this book from the title to the last page of author explanation! I really appreciated the way Affinito takes the well-known story of Job and gives it clarity and realism through the eyes and voice of his wife. It is the story of Job, yes, but it is also the story of growth of change, of commitment, and of love. This is a book I will return to again and again as the themes are important and universal, the characters alive and real, and the messages profound.
Well, that must be a shot in the arm!
Yup! But in the meantime I’ve discovered a problem. Reviews that go on the UK site don’t go on the US site and vice versa.
don’t discover problems 🙂 salute the joy-part
Actually, I’m going to try to work my way around it, and still feel the joy.
Apparently acting on an issue works sometimes. I went to the amazon UK site and discovered it said there were 2 reviews. Clicking on that, I found that one of the reviews is an apparent transfer of all the US Reviews. I do hope people on that site will click on the 2 to find the 33.
Mona, please forgive my preacher-part.
Leelah, I love your preacher part!
a big YES to all of it! Completely agree
